Mensa Secunda tells the story of Apicius, the Roman chef, obsessed with the idea of the perfect recipe. It is an interdisciplinary spectacle that integrates music, dance, theatre and video through the use of interactive electronic media to create a unique environment entising to all the senses. A space that rotates with the hours of a day invites the audience into a world which is ruled by desire and the longing for a perfect reicipe.

Spin Media brings together artists of many nationalities and diverse artistic disciplines to create a rich and vibrant performance in which the Roman world, its table manners and ideals, meet contemporary forms and emotions. The result... an all consuming longing for perfect taste.
